Please join us this Sunday, Jan. 20th at 4 pm, to welcome Ginger Wallis.
Ginger, a Thetford resident, will be reading from her new book, "A Gentle and Curious Path: Through Cancer to Points Unknown".
Ginger's story is one of openness, challenges, humor, confusion, information, and joy.  Natural history is woven throughout the book from her daily (well, almost daily) walks and from her background teaching environmental education and middle school biology.
We'll have refreshments and copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing.

Some new titles include "Me Before You" - Jojo Moyes, "The Last Runaway" - Tracy Chevalier, "Invisible Murder" - Lene Kaaberbol, " Standing In Another Man's Grave" - Ian Rankin,  "The World Until Yetserday" - Jared Diamond, " My Beloved World" - Sonya Sotomayor; the DVD "Call the Midwife". For those of you not watching on Sunday nights, Downton Abbey, season 3 should arrive the very beginning of February.

The reading group meets Thursday, Jan. 31 at 1 pm to discuss "Flaubert's Parrot by Julian Barnes. The library has also borrowed a copy of "A Simple Heart" by Flaubert.
