Many dates to remember at the library:
No children's programs for this Thanksgiving week ---- Thursday or Friday.
(Our apologies to anyone who may have been inconvenienced by the last minute
cancellation of Storytime, last Friday ------ Emily was home with a sick
child). These programs will resume next week.

Sat., Nov. 26 at 5pm: A VERY special event: (part-time) Strafford resident
Gregory Maguire will visit the library for a reading from his new book "Out of
Oz: The Final Volume in the Wicked Years".

Thur., Dec. 1 at 1pm: join the reading group for a discussion of the book
"Old Filth" by Jane Gardam.

Sat., Dec. 3 - the annual Holiday Sale! (the library will be closed for
regular hours).  You may drop off donations for this major fundraiser anytime
the library is open, or Friday, Dec. 2 from 3 - 5pm and Sat., Dec.3 from 9 -
11 am. The sale will run from 11 am - 2 pm. Stop by for some great items; you
can call or email to order wreaths / amaryllis / or paperwhites ahead of time;
and buy raffle tickets for some fabulous prizes! All thanks to the Friends of
the Morrill Library.

Friday, Dec. 9, at 7 pm: another very special event!  Please join us in
welcoming Roz Finn, as she reads from her newly published book "Love Among the
Lambs",
part memoir and partly a course in sheep farming, Roz recounts with humor and
grace her years farming on our Vermont hillside.
