The library will be CLOSED on Thursday, July 4 AND Saturday, July 6 (for the annual book sale).
So plan ahead if you need a great book to read, a DVD, an audiobook or one of the passes.
(Feel free to call about the passes...... some are in demand)

Just one week till the book sale ............ so go through those shelves and bring any donations in
by next Friday ------ noon is the cutoff time, when the sorters will be out in full force. (Once again: please,
no encyclopedias, computer books, moldy books, 10+ year old travel guides or text books).
The sale starts that evening (July 5) , 5 - 7, and continues on Saturday, July 6, 9 - 1 pm. You can stop at the sale and then
head to the art show / auction at the Homestead on Friday evening, and join in the July 4 festivities on Saturday.
Of special note: the sorters report there is an exceptional collection of gardening books in the sale.

It's not too late for children to start a Reading Log for the summer, upstairs in the loft. This program is geared
for children who are reading on their own, including beginner readers. We're proud to report that have almost
30 students signed up.

We have quite a few programs coming up in July ----- we'll keep you posted.
Children's programs start the week of July 8.
