TODAY: STORYTIME 10am

We just learned there is a new link for MANGO, the web based foreign language
program:

http://ezproxy.bywatersolutions.com/login?auth=morrillharris&url=http://
libraries.mangolanguages.com/morrill-harris/start
So, bookmark this and get rid of the old link. You will still need your 13
digit library number.
Apologies for any inconveniences. If you are going on the trip to Italy, now
is a great time to start learning some Italian!

Jim Wilson has graciously donated an album of great photos from Strafford's
July 4 / 250th celebration. Stop in and enjoy it.

The reading group has chosen the book "The Sea" by John Banville (2005 Man
Booker prizewinner) for their next discussion,
on Thursday, October 27th at 1pm.

In the process of updating our public access computers, it became clear it
was time to replace the oldest one.  With grateful thanks to "The Friends",
a new computer was installed today. The other one is in the process of being
updated and we hope both will serve the community well for years to come.

Some more new titles: "Tag Man" - Archer Mayor; " Bitter Truth" - Charles
Todd; " Feast Day of Foold" - James Lee Burke; "Reamde" - Neal Stephenson;
"Swerve" - Stephen Greenblatt; "The Persistence of the Color Line" - Randall
Kennedy; "Following Atticus" - Tom Ryan, and "The Legos Idea Book".
