Please join us this evening (Tuesday) at 7 pm, for the final program in our VT Humanities Council series:
Masters of the Short Story.
Suzanne Brown will lead a discussion based on short stories by Ann Beattie (focusing on 6 of the stories).

Here is a poem from Mame Willey (thanks!), as we continue to celebrate National Poetry Month:

    FULL MOON

I see it coming up
behind the empty trees.
Orange, like a harvest moon.
But this is only March.

An hour from now
it will be free of the trees
and it will be its usual
ordinary white.

Can’t I stop it now
when it’s tangled in trees
and still orange?  Stop it
for some unspecified pause

before it continues on
its journey through nights and days
to disappearing?
