Friday:   10 am: STORYTIME!

Friday: 7 pm: A Community Storytelling Event:  "TRUTH BE TOLD"  The evening’s theme is:  COINCIDENCE or FATE?
    Live music and refreshments, followed by stories (5 mins. each) at 7:30 pm. 
     Free and open to teens and up ------ tell a story or come and enjoy others.

Library Notes--4/17/2014

Just a reminder that there will be NO Storytime this Friday ---- it's been re-scheduled to next Friday, April 25 at 10 am.

Also, next Friday evening, another group is sponsoring a "Community Storytelling Event" in the library ---- sounds like fun for both storytellers and listeners.
The theme is "coincidence or fate" and they are looking for storytellers to tell 5 minute tales.

New titles include: (non-fiction): "Flashboys" - Michael Lewis, "10% Happier" - Dan Harris, "Seeds of Hope" - Jane Good...

Library Notes--4/13/2014

School vacation! So, no children's programs this week ---- 
Storytime has been re-scheduled to Friday, April 25 at 10 am.
Of course, children are always welcome to stop in the library and borrow 
some great books to read over vacation.

Mark your calendars for a special event: Ben Kilham ('the bear guy")will be here Sunday, April 27 at 7 pm.
Actually, we'll be holding the program next door, in the Education Building at the Homestead.
He'll be giving a talk, with video and photos, on "The Social Blac...

Wednesday Evening at the Library!

7 pm,   April 2:
JIM ROONEY! 
Tales from his new book "In It For the Long Run", Jim's memoir of his life in the music business.
There will be books for sale, refreshments --------a great time to get out of the house!

The Thursday after school program will run at 3:15, although there will be no bus transportation due to half day at Newton School.
