Living and Volunteering in Panajachel, Guatemala
Thursday July 11, 7pm
Local Strafford residents, David and Ingrid Webb, have been volunteering in the highlands of Guatemala over a period of eight years. They stay in Panajachel which is situated on Lake Atitlan. A number of Mayan people live around the lake in small villages, some of which are only accessible by boat. David and Ingrid have volunteered for two organizations helping indigenous people: Natun and Life School. Their colorful slideshow will present some of their experiences. This past winter, David got to test out the medical system there. Look forward to seeing you there!
