Summer Reading 2022
Oceans of Possibilities!
Welcome to Summer Reading 2022: Oceans of Possibilities! All programs will be held on Monday evenings at 6:30 on the library lawn, except for the kick-off party, which will be held at the Pocket Park.
If you have not yet set a reading goal and picked up a reading log, you may stop in to the library to get one.
We will also be offering a weekly take and make craft for children, a chalk coral reef on the walkway, and a kelp forest inside, where you may add a fish for every book you read. Looking forward to a boatload of fun together!
Monday, July 18th, 6:30pm: There Are Signs of Oceans in Vermont?! Did you know that oceans once reached Vermont? Mr. K will teach us how to find clues to the past in Vermont’s landscapes and fossils with some fun hands-on learning activities.
Monday, July 25th, 6:30pm: Whale Watch! Join us for a boat-building craft and an adventure (via book) on the high seas!
(Monday, August 1st: No Program)
Monday, August 8th, 6:30pm: Sea Shanty Sing-Along! Join Matt and Kyle for some rousing sea shanties!
